Creating an account and managing it

• Do I need to subscribe to access bidayatmag.com?
  Issues published on bidayamag.com include subscribers’ only content but some articles are open to all users. Without a subscriber’s account, you can browse through the articles and the previous issues that are open to the public.
• Do I need to create a Bidayat account to subscribe? How do I create an account? How do I subscribe?
  Please visit http://www.bidayatmag.com/en/subscribe and choose the subscription type that suits you best (Print or Digital). You can contact us here if you have any questions.
• How is my subscription request acknowledged?
  Once you subscribe, you will receive an automated message on your email with your username and password which you will then use to access bidayatmag.com
• What is a subscription reference number? Why do I need it?
  A subscription reference number is used to acknowledge your payment. Make sure you mention it when you make your payment. Please see our payment section below.
• How do I manage this account (Change my address, change my password, if I forget my password…) and my subscription?
  You can log in on the site and edit your contact details, and password. You can also renew your subscription
• Can I cancel my subscription?
  Yes, please see our refund policy below
• Will I receive a renewal notice?
  Yes, we will send you an email to notify you that your subscription is about to expire.
• Can I make a gift subscription?
  We do not offer this option at the moment but we are working on it.

Payments

• How do I make my payments?
  Payments can be done by check, wire transfers, or credit card. In case you decide to pay by check or wire transfer, make sure you mention your subscription reference number.
• Will you store my credit card details?
  No.
• Can I get a receipt after I make my payment?
  Yes. If you pay by credit card, you will get an automated receipt. If you pay by check or wire transfer, we will send you a receipt as soon as we receive your payment.
• Can my institution ask for an invoice to prepare the subscription payment?

• How much does shipping cost?
  Shipping is incorporated in the total print subscription cost. It varies according to the destination.
• Do you offer discounts to libraries or bookstores?
  If you are a library or a bookstore, please contact us here

Digital users

• Can I download the whole issue in PDF?
  Yes. You can also download individual articles.
• Can I purchase digital single copies?
  No. This service is not yet available.
• Can I order digital back issues of bidayat?
  Please contact us here
• When will I be able to access subscribed content?
  If you are paying by credit card, you will be able to access subscribed content as soon as your payment is processed. If you are paying by check or transfer, you will be able to access it as soon as we receive your payment. Please allow 2-3 weeks for overseas payments.
• I am having trouble accessing bidayat online. What should I do?
  Please contact us here for any troubleshooting issues.
• Can I search bidayat website for a particular piece? Theme? Author?
  Our site is searchable by keyword using the search bar. We are also working on an index of the previous issues. 
• What is the policy for digital institutional subscription?
  The digital subscription we currently offer for institutions includes the following:
  4 issues and access to back issues while the subscription is active
  Access is ensured through a username/password type of access with a shareable password. 
  We do not sign a license and there is no perpetual access to the archives online. However, the full issue and the different articles can be downloaded in PDF Forms (including back issues).
  The price is $150 yearly (133 euros).
  We are really sorry we do not offer trial access at the moment.
